New task formats and diagrams for grades 7-12
A worksheet for older students easily turns into a column of “calculate”. So grades 7-12 now have three new task formats and new diagrams — in the same units you already use.
Three new formats
- “Find the mistake” — the task shows a wrong answer and the student gives the correct one. About 170 kinds of tasks in algebra, functions, geometry and probability.
- “Fill in the steps” — the student completes the missing steps of a solution, e.g. equations with brackets, Pythagoras or the vertex of a parabola.
- “Insert <, = or >” — the student compares the true result with a given number.
New diagrams
Venn diagrams (grades 8-9), pie charts with percentages (grades 7-8), tally charts (grades 1-3) and scatter plots with a line of best fit. Grades 4-6 get bar models for a fraction or percentage of a number, and grades 7-8 get tasks based on data charts.
